Michael founded Genexa in mid 2018. He holds an MSc in Biology from the University of Zurich and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich. Prior to founding genexa, he worked for several years on next- and third-generation sequencing projects at the Swiss agricultural research center Agroscope.

Vincent is currently doing his PhD on microbial communities at the University of Lausanne. In his work, he applies shotgun metagenome sequencing and transcriptomic methods. At Genexa he supports and advises metagenomic and transcriptomic projects.

Dominik has many years’ experience in system administration and software development. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich. Besides his job as a software developer at a Swiss IT company he helps Genexa run its IT infrastructure and with projects involving software development.

Alfred is a veteran in the field of finance and business administration. He served for several decades on the executive board of a medium-sized enterprise. Being a member of the board, he provides his advice on questions regarding finance and business administration.
